A written process

Predictable path,
interesting work.

Four phases. Everything on paper, nothing hidden. You always know where the project stands, what's next, and what it will cost — because I've written it down.

Typical timeline

4–6 weeks for a focused build.
2 weeks for an automation sprint.

01

Week 0

Scope

One call, one page. We agree on the outcome — not the tickets.

A 30-minute intro sets the destination. I follow up with a one-page scope: outcome, non-goals, timeline, and a not-to-exceed cap. You approve in writing before anything else moves.

Deliverables

  • Written scope
  • Fixed price or weekly rate
  • Kickoff date

02

Week 1

Prototype

Working prototype in your hands within a week — no dead wireframes.

Skip the deck. I ship an interactive prototype in the real stack so we can react to something real. Design moves are proved in-browser, not in Figma comments.

Deliverables

  • Live prototype URL
  • Design tokens locked
  • Daily Loom updates

03

Weeks 2–5

Build

Daily progress in a shared thread. You steer, I execute.

Production build against the scope. You get a shared Linear board and a daily written check-in. Every Friday: a working demo and next week's plan.

Deliverables

  • Production codebase
  • Weekly demo
  • Written progress notes

04

Week 6

Ship

Production launch, docs, handover. Aftercare month included.

Full handover: source, credentials, design files, deployment. 30 days of aftercare included for fixes and small tweaks. Ongoing support is a separate, opt-in retainer.

Deliverables

  • Launch checklist
  • Documentation
  • 30-day aftercare

Principles

A few things I hold to.

Ship weekly.

If a week goes by without a demo, something is wrong. Cadence is the deliverable.

One client at a time.

Undivided attention. Faster loops. Better decisions.

Write everything down.

Scope, decisions, trade-offs. Nothing lives only in Slack.
